Q: Hiya I have oily acne prone skin, I've been oogling your tea tree balm for ages yet but scared of anything that says oil due to my already oilness!, do you think they'd be suitable for oilyer skins?

Q: !! I forgot to say for the face in place of a moistrizer. Also everything everywhere says AVOID OIL , but surely not the good oils like in that right?
A: Hi Claire, You're right, good oil is good for your skin. Vegetable oils such as the ones we use in Balm Balm are absorbed easily by the skin rather like watering a plant. Mineral oils are not easily absorbed by the skin and sit on the surface which makes it look oily. We don't use any of these.
Interestingly, oily skin is often a result of over drying out the skin so the pores over produce sebum / oil to counteract it. So go ahead & use our Face Balm, you will be pleasantly surprised. You will only need a little to begin with and once your skin gets accustomed to it it will absorb a little more and start to look just peachy! Bye, Glend |
Q: Yeah i think my face wash just drys out my skin, I went ahead and ordered last night theface balm and lip tube :D look foreward to using them! :) could i also use as a face wash, how would i do that? :)
A: For a Face Wash, apply to damp skin then use a damp muslin or damp cotton wool pad to remove. Alternatively add a little balm to a bowl of warm water and splash over the face. |

Q: how does this cleanse the face?
A: Claire says; "i think it does i've tried it and it worked well :) i've also used it as moisturisor was nervous at first thinking it'd be oily, but acutally when i was wash my face it always feels dry and tight so it's just very unbalanced. this was amazing as a moisturisor wasnt oily because unlike toxic brands that just sit on top of the skin this went straight into my skin and felt like it was working into my skin, i love it! love the lip balm too, love love love |
Q: Glenda joined in . . . .
A: When you use Balm Balm with a muslin cloth or cotton wool pad it works by diluting the make up and/or grime which is then removed easily by the cloth or pad but without stripping the skin of it's natural oils as foaming products do. The muslin approach is best because it also exfoliates a little. When it is used just in the water, it just softens... |
