April 2008

We launch our 100% organic & 100% natural Single Note Eau de Parfums. These are terribly exciting and unique, using grain alcohol and seven different essential oils.

They are certified by the soil association and arrive in a beautiful organic cotton bag

April 2008

Our Baby Balm was nominated for Best Babycare product.

We did got to the finals, but were pipped at the post. Still, how about this snazzy logo though and are very pleased to have made it so far.

March 2008

We thank Natural Health Magazine for declaring our Balms as a WINNER !!!!!

Boots now stock all of our lip balms nation-wide

You can buy them from the shelf & from special units scattered about their stores.

We are proud to shout about the fact that we won the Best Organic Skincare Award, sponsored by the Soil Association at April's Natural Product Show in London. We are dreading the pictures when they come out, as we were quite late arriving and had to get changed in the car and felt pretty dishevelled. Both of us took turns to do this in case we were arrested for soliciting. The winners of this award were chosen by members of the public - which makes it all the more special. Thank you. . . . .

Glenda featured in a live chat on the Jim Davis radio show on LBC today. (Wed 28th March). The show was focussed on the Vitality Show and they covered lots of ground about the products, even about putting up with having to work with your husband. All seemed to have a good time with the Rose Geranium Face Balm going down a storm.

Our lip balms are now available in the High Street thanks to Superdrug. They are stocking both types. Please ask for us by name. Thank you

COMPANY magazine in April decided that Balm Balm was one of the four - MUST BUYS - amongst a stellar cast of MAC, Origins & Estee Lauder.

Glenda Taylor, creator & founder of Balm Balm, has consulted for many other companies such as Lil-Lets and Little Me Baby Organics. Her latest project involves working with Bach Flower remedies expert - Gerard Wolf.

Floracologie says, " Glenda's philosophy is simple – to de-mystify aromatherapy and make it simple and easy to use. She is considered very high profile within the press and Vogue magazine refers to her as “one of the world's most respected aromatherapists”.

Natural Products Europe
Come and see us next April at the Trade Fair Natural Products europe in Olympia. It is on the 9th-10th of April in the Grand Hall. Our stand is tiny, but beautifully formed and is number 2626 in the Organic section.

There will be no excuses for not poppng by as we are adjacent to the Soil Association Marketplace and right opposite a Capuccino outlet. NB: This is for Traders only - sadly, not members of the public.

New Balm Balm Products
We have three new products available from October 2006. Two tubes and one new lip balm - all 100% Organic of course. Both tubes are 30ml. One in green and in the original Fragrance Free formula. The other is pink containing Organic Rose Geranium. This fragrance will also be available in a 7ml lip balm tub too. Click here for more info. .

The Soil Association
In July, Balm Balm became a member of the Soil Associaton. This was very important to us because most shoppers in the United Kingdom recognise and trust the ideals this organisation stands for. They have studied our ingredients on all products we produce, including the exciting new lines, and find they match their exacting standards. See more about the Soil Association on their website by going to our 'links' page.

KT Tunstall
In danger of being a little bit groovey, Balm Balm were pleased to hear from KT Tunstall herself, that she "loves Balm Balm" and thinks it "such a good idea".

KT was recently recognised in the music industry by winning a 'Brit Award' and is doing very nicely in the USA. We wish her well and hope she enjoys our new lines just as mich. She was an early exponent of zapping her Balm Balm in the microwave and enjoyed adding neroli essential oil to it. Read more in the press section . . .

Ethical Junction
We joined this organisation in June 2006. Their network provides information on positively screened ethical companies, organisations, products and services, linking you through to the ethical, environmental and sustainability markets. You can see more about them by going to our links page.
